Personal ads posting rules

Cataloxy-Co.com allows you to post any personal ads.

The ad will be displayed on our website within the period specified by the user: from one month to one year.

To post an ad, you have to register on our website and login to your Personal Account. Registration is necessary for you to edit/repost your ad or promote it at any time.

Restrictions and Options

• Personal ads are posted for a certain period, which you specify when filling out the form. You cannot change the ad retention period when editing the ad itself.
• An ad can be prolonged for a new period. You can do it by clicking on the link in the notification, which is sent to you 5 days prior to the ad expiry date.
• You can add an unlimited number of ads via your Personal Account.
• All ads are published according to the goods and services index to facilitate search by other website users.

Rules and Recommendations for Filling Out the Form

To post an ad, login to your Personal Account and choose Post an Ad option.

Ad can only be posted under specific heading suggested to you before the product information is posted.

Please be very attentive, the goods/service page view rating depends on whether your product has been posted under a correct heading:

• Second Hand section is dedicated to the sale, purchase, exchange, giving as a gift of large-scale goods and household items (furniture, sporting equipment, hardware, etc.), including used items.
• Personals section is for those looking for a partner or friend, as well as for those willing to express their romantic feelings in the "I Will Remember" section.
• Real estate section covers all issues related to selling, purchasing or renting real estate .
• Community section deals with events, concerts, congresses, club meetings, searching for like-minded people, fellow travelers and partners for joint events.
• Jobs section allows posting jobs and CVs.
• Vehicles section deals with purchasing, selling and renting of motor and water transport, as well as farming machines and special purpose machines.
• Services section deals with all types of private services.

Please, make sure that you choose a correct type of action for your product: Want to Sell, Want to Buy, Lease out, Take on Lease, Want to Trade.

The index structure is subject to change. New headings may appear, while the old ones might be removed.

If you have doubts regarding where to post your ad, choose the Miscellaneous section.

Follow these recommendations when filling out the form:

• When entering the Title of the ad, avoid vague wording that does not render your proposal correctly, e.g., an ad like “Attention! Great deal!” does not reveal the substance of your proposal. For example, when you are selling a house, you are to outline key features: “Detached house, foam concrete, 280 sq. m., 12 hundred sq. m.”. You should not use words like “Want to Sell”, “Want to Buy”, “Cheap” in the ad; it is already obvious to the site visitors, as you post your ad under a specific heading and indicate price.
• Use up to 2500 characters in the Ad Description field to describe your proposal.
• Specify the desired price of the proposal in the Price field. Warning! Do not use spaces when entering the price. If you do not want to indicate the price, check the Negotiable box.
• Posting photos has a positive impact on the number of views of your proposal. You can post up to 4 photos for each ad. You can upload images in gif, png and jpeg formats. To upload an image, click the icon and designate the path to the image file. To remove an image, mouseover its icon and click the cross.
• For your convenience, the Location field will automatically display information you have indicated in your previous ads or in the registration form. In case the data is incorrect or incomplete, change the current country, state and city and/or choose them from the dropdown menu. You can indicate your exact address in Additional Info field.
• Contact Details block will automatically display the data you have indicated in your previous ads or in the registration form. You may edit them, if needed. Your e-mail is not displayed in the ad, however, a user can send you a message through a contact form on our website. Messages sent through the form will be stored in your Personal Account, in Inbox section. А copy of notification will be immediately sent to your e-mail.
• You can edit or remove your ad at any time. To do this, login to your Personal Account, choose the ad and click the relevant icon in the upper right-hand corner: - to edit the ad, - to remove the ad.

Ad Removal

• Personal ads are partially moderated prior to posting.
• Should the users of Cataloxy-Co.com report reasonable complaints regarding an ad, it will be removed from the catalog.
• Should illegal data or information, which may be harmful to other users, be posted, the ad will be removed from the catalog.
• Users, posting any statute-prohibited or immoral ads, are responsible for such posting.
• If a moderator decides to remove a product/service from the catalog, a notification is sent to the user. Should the users consider such removal to be unreasonable, they can contact the Help Desk to get explanations.
• In the event of of minor violations the ad may be blocked. A notification will be sent to the user. Once the ad has been corrected, it will be re-moderated.
